Getting rid of unwanted hair has been a goal for women, and some men, for a few decades now.

The at home hair removal laser Tria has been on the market for several years. Using it as directed for at least 8 treatments you’ll notice a substantial reduction on hair growth.

Unfortunately this product will not work for all skin tones or hair color. Because the laser light targets melanin cells, people with darker complexions are not good candidates for this laser as it could potentially damage their skin.

The opposite is true for lighter hair tones. Because blonde, red and gray hair do not contain enough melanin, the Tria laser cannot target their roots, therefore rendering it ineffective.
